HOW DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM YOU?
We obtain information about you when you use our website, when you contact us by e-mail or telephone about our products and services, when you stay with us or if you register to receive one of our newsletters or e-mail updates.
WHAT TYPE OF INFORMATION IS COLLECTED FROM, OR ABOUT, YOU?
We only ask for the information required to process your enquiry and reservation. The personal information we collect might include a recognised form of Government Identification (Passport or Driving Licence), your name, address, email address and IP address. We may also need to collect the names of other guests over 18 years of age. We also collect details about your accommodation requirements such as budget, length of stay, and accommodation type. If your employer uses our services to book accommodation for you, we may collect this information from them rather than directly from you.
When you visit our website we collect some cookie information regarding your use of the website and this is used to help us improve the service we deliver. Cookie information can include your IP address, the browser you’re using and your language settings.
If you purchase a product or service from us and pay by card, your card information is not held by us. It is collected by our third-party payment processors (Stripe), who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below.
Your payment card details and Government Identification are required for all bookings to be processed in order to confirm your reservation. This will be required via our online check-in forms, due to the company providing self-service accommodation.
HOW IS YOUR INFORMATION USED?
We may use your information to:
Process orders that you have submitted;
Carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you relating to the booking of any short-term serviced apartments/accommodation;
Seek your views or comments on the services we provide;
Notify you of changes to our services;
Send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you;
Promote activities or services from our associated companies;
Confirm your identity so that we can provide you with goods and services.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity or as long as it is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us. In addition, we are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory obligations this may be up to 6 years after your last booking for the purpose of auditing and complying with regulatory bodies such as HMRC.
We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis.
None of your personal information is shared unless you request that we reserve your chosen accommodation. If you would like to proceed with a reservation, we will pass on the relevant personal information to the property provider. This will allow them to allocate an apartment to you and, if applicable, any other travellers in your group.
Furthermore, if you have opted in when making your enquiry, we will send you marketing materials such as our monthly newsletter that details promotions, special offers, and discounted rates. Depending on your preferences, we may send you further correspondence from time to time.
WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION?
We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.
We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third Party Service Providers working on our behalf: We may pass your information to our third-party service providers, agents, subcontractors, and other associated organisations for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (e.g. to manage a short-let booking or property matter we have been instructed to administer). However, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service and we require them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own marketing purposes.
We do not release your information to third parties beyond our network unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law (e.g. court order or for the prevention of fraud or other crime).
We may disclose your information in the event that we sell the business, merge or acquire another business, or need to establish or defend a legal claim.
OUR WEBSITE
When someone visits www.honeywhitehomes.com, we use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior patterns. This information is processed in a way that does not identify anyone.

SQUARESPACE
Squarespace is our email marketing tool. When you sign up to the mailing list on www.honeywhitehomes.com, your name and email address are stored in Squarespace and, by using our sign-up form, you consent to receiving marketing material via email from Honeywhite Homes Ltd.
SMOOBU

CHILDREN’S PERSONAL DATA
You must be over 18 years of age to reserve accommodation with Honeywhite Homes. If children are travelling with you, we may ask their age for accommodation purposes (e.g. if a cot or high-chair is needed), but we do not require or store their personal details.
SOCIAL MEDIA
We are active on social media platforms to share updates, news, and promotions. Occasionally, we may contact you directly (e.g., if you win a competition). Your data will always be used in accordance with this policy and for legitimate business purposes only.
YOUR CHOICES
